I have a cold
Luckily the miserable phase is usually not more than 24 hours, but I’m smack in the thick of it now. Looking forward to my gin.
What a miserable Summer.
We have the central heat on. Again. July 12.
It rained heavily this morning. I watched the weather satellite as one band of rain moved down the English Channel while another moved up the English coast at the same time. Like, how does that even happen?
I want a do-over.

Maybe you guys should become bi-coastal: south coast of Old Blighty during fall/winter… southeast coast of USA (Florida) during spring/summer. You could go to Trump Boat parades and dodge falling iguanas!

A summer cold! Oh no! I am so sorry. Goldilocks gave me this recipe for a HOT TODDY. It’s not a cure but it will make you feel better right away.
Mix in a mug:
1 oz whisky—your choice
2 tablespoons of honey
2 teaspoons of lemon juice (I use lemon from a squeeze bottle)
2 oz. of boiling water.
IMHO—This is a perfectly balanced mixture.

Natural antibiotic:
Ingredients used:
1/2 cup of organic unfiltered honey
1 tbsp of ginger powder
1 tbsp of turmeric powder
A little bit of ground black pepper
Instructions:
Mix all the ingredients and Take this 1 spoon a day. Use when necessary.
