Iowahawk is the best. Remember his blog?
Not going to lie: I held my breath until the swearing in was over. I mean, not literally. I can’t hold my breath that long. I sighed deeply a lot.
Also, I had to bail on the speech. I have a very, very low cringe threshold. He was calling them all kinds of terrible shit AND THEY WERE SITTING RIGHT THERE.
Did you watch?

Remember how TheDemocrats tortured Bret Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearings, what with that total lying bag lady that couldn’t remember the houses and street names where she imagined herself being assaulted by teen boys?
Guess where he was today? Swearing in the Vice President of the United States, that’s where! Starting with that moment, I knew we were in for some epic shit-stirring and I was totally right!
PDJT put TheDemocrats on the back foot and then threw ’em in the dirt and made them so bloody they couldn’t pretend to applaud. GLORIOUS !!!!!

Yes, with friends, while we sat around, cracking jokes about kamala, discussing pistols we own or have known and observing statues of Grant, in uniform, and Lincoln behind them, as a little reminder to the slave owning party.
With a hurrah when he was sworn in.

Yes…. I am not usually one for such ceremonies, so I didn’t watch the swearing-in part, but I enjoyed Trump’s speech.
One thing that amused me was when Carrie Underwood sang ‘America The Beautiful’ (despite a background track failure by a now-formerly employed sound man) she asked everyone to accompany her. Even Joe managed to mumble along but Kamala either didn’t know the words or ? Was too drunk to remember them? That amused me.
My plans for tomorrow consist of watching CNN all day to enjoy their bitter, salty tears as they announce Executive Order after Executive Order. Oh, yes, I’ll be eating popcorn and drinking too.

I “watched” on Xitter. Good enough for me. The meltdowns are something. And the “We’re gonna double-down” vibe is pretty amazing. They’re already calling Musk Hitler. Musk!

I watched for the hour leading up to the swearing-in ceremonies. I’ll read the transcript of Trump’s speech later.

Trump’s speech was wonderful. I bet most of those idiots were expecting him to do the whole “unity” thing. Nope!

Breaking with life-long tradition, I did watch a lot of the proceedings today, from 2 hours before the actual ceremony and through President Trump’s inaugural speech. My only disappointment is that I fear Joey is too far gone to realize just how brutally he and his administration were savaged by the new man in charge. President Trump didn’t use any curse words as he tore into the damage — economic damage, governmental damage, social damage, moral damage — perpetrated on the American people and the world over the last four years by those infesting the White House.
I also watched the goings-on at the Cap One Arena; after the marching bands, President Trump spoke again (more in the spirit of his campaign rallies) and signed a tall stack of executive orders. After that, he and his entourage left for the White House where he did an interesting combination of EO signings and press conference. Yes, he can sign his name at the same time he listens to and answers serious questions (unlike Joey the Brussels Sprout).
Satisfactory.

It was interesting to see one of the guest sections in the Capitol where Zuck, Bezos, Pichai, Musk and a bunch of others were gathered schmoozing and looking very pleased with themselves.
Joey, Jill, Kakamala, Doug, Schmuckles Schumer, and a gang of Democrats were, I’m delighted to say, looking very, very grim.

I watched the festivities yesterday and reveled in Trump’s savagery! He woke up and chose violence yesterday and IT. WAS. GLORIOUS. Looks like he’s going to go full scorched earth and I’m here for every minute of it.

Some Veg: Kamalala wasn’t too drunk to remember the words, she grew up in Canadia and never learned them. Bet she can’t sing O Canadia, either, since she was in KeBeck.
Uncle Al: It’s not that Joey is too far gone to realize just how brutally he and his administration were savaged, he just doesn’t care. He got his money, pardoned his family, and got out. Between his bribes and the family pardons, he hasn’t a worry in the world. (I wonder how much Fauci and the others paid Joe for their pardons.)
Now, on to the border(s).

Not to defend her, but she spent about 6 years in Canada.
