@Stoaty — techie note. I normally use ExpressVPN for general browsing. It rarely causes any difficulty but tonight when I tried to post the above comment, I went partway through the Verification step and then got a 404 for a URL made up of one of those extremely long hex strings. I disabled the VPN and all’s well. I don’t know if this is something you have control over, or even have any interest in controlling, but I thought you ought to know. I’m not griping. These things happen, just like clogged drains, and are simple but smelly to deal with.
