Say “friend” and enter
I stole Uncle B’s lime. I mean, his lime picture. It gives him great pleasure to grow citrus fruit in the UK. Also, he likes limes.
I finally got AI to bend to my will. After using three services and dozens of prompts, I had a brainstorm. I told it “Make me a book cover for a book called ‘name of the book I need a cover for'” and it did a really good job!
Points if you recognize the subject line. More points if you can explain to me how it relates to the above, because I can’t quite draw a line between them.

I was a LOTR geek before Peter Jackson could have finished reading the Lord of the Rings so I recognized that subject line instantly.
Gandalf:
Annon Edhellen, edro hi ammen! (Gate of the Elves, open now for me!)
Fennas Nogothrim, lasto beth lammen. (Doorway of the Dwarf-folk, listen to the word of my tongue.)
Edro, edro! (open, open!)
I was about to say I don’t know the connection but..
“MELLON” turns out to be the word that opens the Westgate of Moria to the lost elven realm of Hollin in Eregion.
Which…dropping a letter and scrambling mellon…
Lemon?

‘Lime’ is ‘la lima’ in Spanish so . . . substitute the ‘o’ with an ‘a’, do a little jiggery-pokery with the order of letters, pretend there’s an ‘n’, and Bob’s your third cousin twice removed.

She put de lime in de coconut, she called de doctor, woke ‘im up
And said, “Doctor, ain’t there nothin’ I can take?”
I said, “Doctor, to relieve this bellyache?”

She put the lime in the keyhole and mashed em’ both together
she put the lime in the keyhole and it made a mess of her sweater
She said, “Doctor! Ain’t you got no more gin?”
She said, “I’ll be yer friend! And he said, “Enter friend, Come in!”
She put de lime in de coconut, she drank ’em bot’ up
Looked over at ol’ Gandolf, and said, Hey gray Wiz, what’s up?”
…
Say, how many degrees of separation are there between Harry Nilsson and J.R.R. Tolkien?

Impressive, Durned. But no…what I had in mind was, remember Gandalf originally translated it as “speak, friend, and enter” and he spent hours trying to figure out the word he should speak. But it turns out the real translation should have been “say ‘friend’ and enter”.
So I tried all these roundabout ways to get the image I wanted, when all I had to do was ask it to make me a book cover.

Ah! Ha ha, very good.
Not the actual thing, the manner in which it was done!
No points then 😂
Excellent poem/song anonymous…or should I say Some Vegetable?
