How the hell do I not lose this?
I asked for a new 4 terabyte drive for doing the backups at work. This is what I got. It looked so much bigger in the picture!
I’m going to have to…tie it to something.
I’ve made an executive decision: my birthday starts May 1. Tomorrow. I mean, I go in to work the next two days, but I’ma start the junk food and video games right away.
I’ve auto-queued some silly posting, but my brain has already flown South for the week. See you in seven!

Happy Birth-Week, Stoats!
I think celebrating for a week rather than just a day is an idea which should catch on. It’d be just as arbitrary to limit celebration to just Birth-Hour (that’d be tough luck for the early am babies).

Looks like it has a lanyard hole, so just wear it around your neck.

You kinda a piker on this birthday stuff. Hubby’s birthday is on the 31st day of his month. He rolls out of bed bright and early on the 1st and says “it’s my birthday month! And what are you doing for me today?!” Every. Damn. Day. for 31 days!
It’s a good thing I love this man…

I’ve been doing a two day BD for quite a while, but I’m going to take a look at this month-long thing…
I figure I get two days because I was born at 9:35 p.m.¹ on May 9. That translates to 2:35 a.m. GMT on May 10. I don’t give a raft’s aft what my birth certificate says! I take both the 9th and the 10th to drink celebrate!
1. There’s no standard/daylight designator because Daylight Saving Time was foisted upon us after I was born, otherwise my minute of birth would have been recorded as 10:35 p.m. EDT.

@UncleAl…you behind the curve on this whole prolonged b-day shit. Like I said, hubby’s b-day is the 31st of his month. He tried to sneak the month of and the month post because “he was on the cusp.” I couldn’t stop laughing at that shit (in his defense, he couldn’t either!!!)!

Happy Birthday Week!
Apropos of nothing, there’s a Saxon festival down in Woodbridge May 24. Might be fun but I don’t think it’s a very big event. Mostly tour the longship being built there. It’s probably a bit of a drive from your location. Still, Saxon stuff. Could be cool.
