The one on the right, I think

Could be both. Assuming it’s for heaving around faggots of wood, a two-pronged fork seems like what is called for.

Yes, the agricultural shows are still upon us.

Faggot fork—for picking up bundles of twigs. Also a burning twig—to light your cigarette or a fire. The Boy Scouts called those twigs “squaw wood.” Using those terms now will cause you no end of grief, and possibly a date with a firing squad.

Moving faggots around with forks? I think leashes and dog collars are more humane.

I..uh….thought squawwood was also buffalo chips, there being no twigs on the Plains, but the internet offended are pretending the “Indians” called buffalo dung “buffalo chips” and have ruthlessly policed it all. In addition to telling you, endlessly, that the use of the word squaw is offensive no matter when you use it, even if you’re using it to explain historical context.

Orwell was a genius.

Me, I have a very very nice multi tine hay fork that is extraordinarily good for compost turning. Some people also use those 2 tine forks for mucking stalls, but I think we all know those are for poking the gentry when it comes time for torches and manor storming 😁

Your mileage may vary if you think Uncle Al’s definition applies in that context 😋

The Faggot Fork, as an object, leads my thoughts down 4 or 5 different roads, none of which I wish to explore…

As a Yank who likes to try and do a low-rent um, “UK” (yeah that’s the ticket!) accent. I tried to say “faggot fork” but my wife and friends and then the police misunderstood me.
