Faggot fork—for picking up bundles of twigs. Also a burning twig—to light your cigarette or a fire. The Boy Scouts called those twigs “squaw wood.” Using those terms now will cause you no end of grief, and possibly a date with a firing squad.

Me, I have a very very nice multi tine hay fork that is extraordinarily good for compost turning. Some people also use those 2 tine forks for mucking stalls, but I think we all know those are for poking the gentry when it comes time for torches and manor storming 😁
