Never thought of it that way…

I wonder if the satellites have any sort of sensors that might detect something moving through them.

Further to the statins discussion below, I know several people who really suffered on statins (debilitating joint pain). I also read a large meta-study recently that said statins do provably lower heart attack risk, but don’t improve overall mortality. So they’re doing something bad.

Of course, plenty of studies show clear benefit. Which is why it’s so hard to make good informed decisions – you can find a study to prove anything you like. I just know I don’t want to end up like my mother in law – carting a bag of pills around with me everywhere.

You silly.
A study from Europe a couple weeks ago claimed if you had only ONE COVID SHOT you were 20% less likely to die.
Didn’t say from what so the conclusion in science is it would make you 20% less likely to fall in the shower, get drunk and wreck your car, or be killed by a mountain lion while hiking in Colorado.

It’s a miracle beyond the miracle of preventing any cases of old fashioned flu from killing anyone in 2020/2021.

Aliens aren’t intergalactic, they’re interdimensional, I’m sure Musk knows this but he’s propping up ‘the narrative’. They’re demons in lab grown bodies, the greys anyway.

About those “studies” …

The universities that train researchers are corrupt.

Research money comes from govt agencies typically controlled by the entities they purport to oversee (“regulatory capture”).

Submitting a proposal to get research money for a project that interferes with corporate goals is not only doomed to fail, but may well end any career opportunities for the naive researcher.

If you play the grant proposal game successfully and you get results that interfere with corp. goals, an honest report will never make it through peer review.

Such reports won’t make it through peer review because virtually all the academic journals are also captured in ways similar to the regulatory agencies.

Plus, serious people are reading fewer and fewer journals because so many of them are filled with bogus reports with manufactured data, seriously broken test plans, flawed and ignorant analyses, and the occasional satirical piece making fun of the whole process.

I could go on but my brain hurts and my fingers are tired. Anyway, take NONE of it seriously any more.

My Doctor had me on a very low dose statin for years, but he also said that the official top of the healthy range for triglycerides was around 100, which he ignored and just went with the average of the “good cholesterol” and “bad cholesterol”, and if it was below 200 or so, didn’t worry much. Turned out that losing 60 lbs. solved the problem, and the statins went in the trash. Now I find a diet of mostly rather fatty proteins like salami and such, plenty of cheese, beer, and grilled meats keep my numbers just where I want them. A big breakfast of sausage and biscuits (in white gravy made with the sausage drippings and a little bit of extra bacon grease) on a weekly basis seem to have no effect either, so there’s that . . .

Off Topic 🙂
The Union Pacific’s “Big Boy” locomotive is going on tour again this year, in celebration of America’s 250th birthday. These locomotives helped us win WWII. I am hoping that it will come through Amarillo. I found this video with Jay Leno.

If I remember correctly: there were 25 original locomotives. There are 8 remaining, and 2 that have been restored.

Former Pharma worker here. Do not take statins under any circumstances. Your brain needs cholesterol to work.

Beware: more than one link in a comment is apt to earn you a trip to the spam filter, where you will remain -- cold, frightened and alone -- until I remember to clean the trap. But, hey, without Akismet, we'd be up to our asses in...well, ass porn, mostly.
