Our local garden centre is full of such tat, alas. That’s what Brits do on Sunday now, by the way. Now that they don’t go to church. They go to garden centers and mill around looking at plants. And tat.

It’s just as well.
All the parishioners were getting was “Worship Gaia! Allahuakbar! Hate the sin, not the sinner but don’t you dare suggest repentance! Also, listen to the heresy coming from this bishop’s mouth and accept it as doctrine!”
Even the Roman Catholics are being led astray.

Didn’t it say in the Bible that the Church would betray everybody?…I guess we’re there. Don’t need a church to talk to heavenly father anyway 🙏

@ExpressoBold Pureblood — About the only ones right now who don’t seem to be going astray are Orthodox Christians ☦️. They’ve been sticking to it for about 2,000 years and have gotten to be quite good at not changing. And icons are a much bigger deal than tat.

@Mark Matis — For the most part, there are separate Eastern Orthodox churches for each country. They talk to each other but aren’t part of some single large organization. I say “for the most part” because there are a couple of exceptions, one of them being the connection between the Ukrainian and the Russian Orthodox Churches. As a practical matter, the Ukes are part of, and somewhat subordinate to, the Russkies. Therefrom arose some serious mischief! And that’s why the Ukes have banned the Russian Orthodox Church, but not all the rest of them.
