Covered in weasels!

I don’t know the backstory, but this woman seems to be raising six tiny weasels (I had to freeze frame to count them). I bet her meat bill is horrendous.
I was sent the link to that YouTube by @grnspd on Twitter, who I assume is one of you lot.

Purely cute! I love it!
To help with the meat bill, she should go to her local pet store and buy a breeding pair, maybe two pair, of rats (or the rodent of her choice).
p.s. This trend of “captioning” by displaying each individual spoken word one at a time instead of using whole phrases or sentences is highly annoying. Miffed. I am miffed.

I just got my first electric kettle and am quite enjoying the freedom of hot water not heated in a microwave or expensive stove top kettle.
Question for the experienced kettle users: I have been leaving the water which remains after boiling in the kettle and adding to it for the minimum “water to boil” requirement.
Should I be pouring out that water and using all fresh each time?

I pour it out and use fresh each time. I think it has to do with…oxygen content in the water.
Unless I’m using the hot water for a utilitarian purpose, like cleaning something. Then, oxygen schmoxygen.

@ExpressoBold PB — If you’re boiling the water then yes, pour the remainder out. If not after each use, at least frequently. Unless you’re using distilled water the concentration of minerals will increase over time. This will accelerate the scale buildup inside the kettle, and you’ll likely not like the taste of the water.
If you’re simply heating water but not boiling it, that mineral increase will be much slower but still happening. In that case I’d still empty the remainder but not necessarily every time.
