Our new kitchen tap! It came in a fabric drawstring bag. It’s very heavy, lovely finish. Not too expensive and got here overnight.
The tiles, on the other hand. For a backsplash to the stove (being a Southerner, I fry everything and the wall behind the stove is unspeakable). Found what I wanted, £42 for two square meters. Not bad. Wait – postage £39?!
I mean, tiles are heavy…

Another eye opener – there was a particular tile I wanted, because it was on the white side but didn’t look like a public restroom. So, brand name and everything.
One site had 2 square meters for £42, another for over £100. A couple more places were priced in between.
