Stop it
I absolutely hate this style of writing. I’m sure it’s AI. It’s all over Facebook these days.
Every paragraph is a single sentence long, and it goes on for pages like this. And every story is stretched well beyond its meaningful bits. I find it physically hard on my eyeballs to process after a while.
I don’t understand why the human operator can’t spend a few minutes gluing some of those silly sentences into proper paragraphs.
If you blow it up, you might even be able to read it. It’s part of a story about a Gary Larson cartoon that the Goodall Institute took exception to (this one). They were going to sue him over it, but somebody showed it to Jane (she was in the field in Africa) and she loved it.
The Institute got permission to use it on t-shirts, etc., and she and Larson struck up a friendship. Eventually, she invited him to Africa to interact with the chimps – one of which attacked him.
As I was looking for an online copy of the cartoon to link to, I saw the story repeated multiple times, so apparently it’s true.
I gotta be someplace tonight, so that’s all the sense you’ll get out of me.

I recall reading about the Goodall Institute / Far Side kerfuffle in a book by Gary Larson.
The account Larson gave differed somewhat from that ‘true story’.

He tells that story in the Prehistory of the Far Side. Pretty funne.
At first, I thought the AI/spam comments were people trying to be funny, consideriing the graphic.
It wasn’t until the 6th one I started thinking it’s actual spam.

My fervent and sincere desire is that all comment spammers be inflicted concurrently with hemorrhoids, anal warts, and diarrhea.
