Sheep in a wheelchair

Ladies and gentlemen, sheep in a wheelchair. There you go.

Oh, hey, for some reason, the Freedom of the Press Foundation would like to spread these recordings of Bradley Manning reading a prepared statement, smuggled out of his first hearing. Um, okay!

Not sure what they’re hoping to accomplish. He sounds like an unrepentant, self-absorbed whiny little bitch whose motive for breaking his oath and betraying his country was something like, “because war is H – E – Double hockeysticks.” Particularly when you watch it on a monitor from a comfy office Stateside, apparently.

It’s going to be hard going, making a hero out of this little wiggler.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it will be hard to make him into a hero because the people who would look up to him for what he did are self-absorbed, whiny little wigglers themselves. Those of us with more sense know better already.

This may play for the civilian audience but since he is being judged by a military court, it’s not going to help him. Was it illegal to release this audio statement or a violation of any orders he’s currently under? Even if not, it just makes him look unrepentant for his actions. And as we well know, he released a lot more than just this small clip.

I wish he had talked about his trannie girlfriend and his anger that he could not bring her to a base dance.

A boringly written book on a fascinating subject is “The Venona Project”. It details the results of American codebreakers success in breaking some Soviet codes during WWII and for some years afterward. Wild Joe McCarthy may have been a drunk but it turns out that there -were in fact – Communist spies everywhere in the government, and the government knew it… however couldn’t reveal their source for fear of the Soviets changing their codes. So many more than those charged were known to be guilty and quietly forced out of thegovernment, whle more, hidden by codenames were never found.

I believe that poor little Bradley is a victim of the descendents of these fellow travellers who hate the US because it is not perfect. They are spread among academia and the press. They teach the delusion that somehow damaging the United State and Great Britian will improve the world.
Upon rereading this, it certainly sounds paranoid… however after reading the documentation of the past activities of anti-American zealots that is available now, I tend to believe that -just as the Islamists are engaged in Holy War against the West, so these secular ‘true believers are also engaged in a Holy War against Capitalism.

RE: Sheep on wheels.

I have a family member who is enamored of the animal shelters ‘rescue’ program. They are taking lab animals (Dogs) and promoting the adoption of these animals. They probably make good pets, IF you know how to handle dogs. But it’s the anti science agenda that puts me off. They want to end medical testing on animals. Ok, fine, but does that mean the testing stops? To save the animals, we’re not going to test, or will the result be ‘clinical trials’ on humans, poor humans desperate for a medical miracle?

If medical test with animal subject stops, that will impede further development of new drugs, which is OK with these animal rights groups because humans are evil you see.

The was a video on wired.com about lab chimps being released to a natural habitat after years in the lab, and the activists were gushing over how wonderful it was that these animals were now free.

Sorry for the rant. I’ve probably offended someone. I usually do.

Amen, Skandia Recluse. I’m not enthusiastic about the idea of using animals as test subjects, but, well, we EAT them. And make things out of their skin and their bones. And other bits. And it isn’t as if we are the only living organisms that make use of other living organisms.

Yes, I think that those who use animals as test subjects should be held to some ethical standards about why and how. It shouldn’t be fun and games. But it is–at least at this stage in history–unrealistic to say we shouldn’t do it. Maybe our descendants will, as a society, find the practice as distasteful in retrospect as we find slavery; but right now, well, no.

And it is just silly to think that an animal which has been bred in captivity without any intent that it be released to the wild will be able to function in the wild. Such a release is at least as abusive as animal testing in the first place.

What bothers me the most is that people TRUSTED this creep with the means to get at classified info. Bradley just looks like someone who would betray his own mother. I worry about how many others in our services are like him?

Sort of the same thing with that Muslim Psychiatrist who murdered so many soldiers while shouting Ala Akbar. Plenty of people knew he was a creep, but PC policies meant no one could complain — he’s a Muslim so we don’t dare question his loyalty.

Buster’s arrangements are interesting.

Apparently it wasn’t practical to support him through the stump of his missing leg.

Instead there is a wheel, supporting the frame around his body, which supports a strap across his forechest. (Is that a word? The part of a quadruped which is in front of its forelegs and below its neck.) The large black patch on his left side doesn’t seem to be a strap – perhaps a pouch for accessories – but it looks there’s another strap going straight down around the underchest (behind the forelegs and in front of the abdomen).

Those straps are what hold Buster up. That makes me wonder if he can put his head down to graze, or if he has to have his fodder on a platform or manger.

Some Veg: Have you ever heard of Harry Dexter White? He was a senior official in the Treasury Department. In 1944-1946, he basically created the “Bretton Woods system” for foreign currency exchanges and was the first U.S. director of the International Monetary Fund. “Bretton Woods” became the foundation of international capitalism after the war.

And he was a Soviet agent. Ironic, no?

The problem here is credibility, Oceania! You claimed the evil US Govt had assassinated TWP NZ PMs. I took you at “your word” and checked it out. It turned out NO NZ PM (or MP) was ever assassinated. Or died while in office.

OK, before I said YOU LIAR, I wrote a pleasant note asking you for names of those two. Maybe, I thought, you were just mis-stating some fact. You couldn’t bother to reply. So you lied about the US murdering NZ PMs.

Now, whenever you make negative claims about the us, I think ” Oceania is just lying again cause he’s got some hate issues with the US”

I do hope you get over your super bug (assuming you weren’t lying there too). Credibility is really hard to regain though.

The trouble with someone like me, versus someone like you is that I maintain the same story. I know the story well. I know the evidence well. Your trouble is that your government has illegally assassinated more leaders and peoples than there is room for in any history book ever could contain. That’s real historical credibility. A credibility that you and your countrymen will be stained with for all eternity.

Charming (read: annoying). In the home of the English language, a so-called journalist, who should be an expert in its use, can’t even get the subjunctive right nowadays. Irrational hate? Perhaps you should educate yourself as to what exactly your nation has done historically, and is doing today. Then we shall see what stories you make up to deny that reality? Perhaps you should look at some of the footage that Mr Manning is accused of leaking? Need more evidence? Some of the hardest shocks that are coming are going to occur in your country in the future. Instead, Oceania sees he’s caught in the web of his own LIES, cannot give a name since his story was FALSE, and can only sputter out the c-word. So, like all LIARS, Oceania claims he has no time (for two names!), he’s told it all before (but no link), and no one can dispute his claims (because).

What manning has done, is blow the whistle on your corrupt diplomatic corps, your internal correspondence. And your WAR CRIMES! Technically, his case should be before The Hague, as it documents and discusses war crimes.
Americans not concerned that their nation is out committing war crimes? Reminds me of two local Afghan boys who were detained by the NZDF and turned over to US troops, only to be found the next day by locals dead face down in a ditch 8 kms down the road.

Manning has more morals, brains and intestinal fortitude that any member of the Green Beret Pantomime Unit. After all, he is maintaining his Oath.

Trolls can be fun, especially the unhinged types. I’ve learned a lot about New Zealand in tracking down Oceania’s lies about assassination.

Example: when the evil white men first discovered NZ, they noticed that males significantly outnumbered females. Like 3 to 1. The white devils discovered that native Maoris would routinely kill female babies, since they were of no use in war and still ate a lot. As loving parents, these babies would be killed by crushing their skull. Oh, in case you’re wondering, boys were treated in much the same manner as in classical Greece – hence, the females were not missed that much.

The Brits and French imperialists came in and put an end to the infanticide and boy-rape, all under the guise of “civilization”. Doubtless, Oceania is disgusted by all this and wishes NZ could go back to those days!

Comment from Oceania
Time: March 14, 2013, 5:00 am

That would technically be the Dutch in modern history. However the Celts were believed to be here beofre the maori, and then the Mori-Ori. The maori arrived in 1300AD from Taiwan, and butchered and ate the Mori-Ori …

You have to realise that in Maori culture, people are either slaves, or food.

And in case you are wondering, two NZ prime ministers were murdered by your government.

Thanks Oceania for finally providing a name. And a link supporting your claim. We can now review your evidence that the US Govt assassinated David Lange.

I think we agree on these facts: Dan Quayle was indeed VP of the US. David Lange was indeed PM of NZ(1984-1989). Lange did die(2005)

BUT, is it reasonable to call his death an ASSASSINATION? 16 years AFTER being PM? The US is so stupid it waits 16 years to kill him? Taht makes sense to you?

He died of a blood disease after suffering from diabetes since the 90s. So you conclude it MUST be the US govt giving him the disease. Really? I noticed He was a ” fat boy” long before being PM – obesity is usually part and parcel of diabetes and just seems more likely as the cause here.
