OMFG

Is it real? Well, it’s out there. Nobody’s taking responsibility as yet. I can just hear the brainstorming session, though:

“We need healthy young people to sign up for this thing. What do kids like?”
“Pictures of cute animals with funny captions?”
“GO!”

On a related note, we’re thinking of calling the kitten Buster. Short for Filibuster.

The kitty needs a last name. Buster Cruz!

(Ted is my hero; I wish he was my senator.)

Darrell Issa hits back with a counter-series of “Adorable not Affordable” that is even better.

I love the name “Buster” and wholeheartedly endorse!

Nah, this is just Obama doing what Obama does best; bamboozling his cult followers and insulting his political enemies all at the same time.

I like Buster. It goes so well with, “Cut that out Buster!”

So, it is better or worse that the adorable kitty act pictures are real?

I’m going with ‘worse’, because they think that it will sway people and also because they’re probably right.

Heh. I can’t wait for the Soylent Green ads.

Green tech at its best. I just can’t shake the image of all the brain dead morons yelling and cheering for the arrival of the aliens on the roof of that building in “Independence Day” just before the beam weapon lights up and blasts them all to plasma. Invasions have consequences.

This seems like it could work well by appealing to idiots and mental children everywhere… or backfire horrifically by getting into the hands of Anonymous and turned into ghotse.

But what to do? As Ted Cruz pointed out, the ONLY chance we have is for 41 brave Senators to vote no on cloture. If they don’t, then the Senate holds a simple up-down vote. In that case, ALL Republicans can vote NO, all Dems will vote YES, and the deal is done.

Next year, the Republicans will claim they voted NO on the bill, so vote for me again. The media will run with that and the stupid electorate will once again vote traditional lines. We’ll get RINOs and Dems again.

We’re screwed.

Buster is good. I know several cats named Buster.

My cats are named Lucky, Whitey, Chimmie and Tin-Tin. Lucky is a ginger and is – well, not really so lucky. One blown out eye and has fallen off the 4th floor 5 or 6 times now, mainly trying to get together with prospective boyfriends. Whitey is white, no creativeness there. Chimmie is a split face – left side is ginger and the right side is tortoise. Tin-Tin is just a fat and happy mix of everything.

Back to Oh!-Care – the next several months should be quite entertaining, as long as you are a bystander and not affected by the bloodletting. Being an ex-pat and resident of a foreign country, I’m exempt. Which is great, especially since I get to rub it in with all my friends.

Yeah, I’m not liked much these days…

To be called Buster, he has to bust something/someone.

What about … “Useless Eater From The Internet”?

Tom, It’s not as bad as all that. In red states the RINOs will face primary challengers who will ask what they were doing when Cruz was standing against Obamacare. In blue states the RINOs can run ads against the Dems who voted for what is sure to be a grossly unpopular law. The GOP theme for 2014 can be to simply return healthcare to the status quo ante, which sucked. But Obamacare sucks more than a hoovernado, so it’s still an improvement.

But the next 15 months, at least, are going to be less than enjoyable.

I grant that there will be some anti-RINO challengers in Red States, but not enough. And they will face the full force of the state’s Institutional Republican party, which will if necessary help the Democrat win in order prevent a Conservative from winning, even if the grassroots nominates a Conservative. We have two Marxist Democrat Senators here in Colorado because our state Republican party supported them over Conservative Republicans who were nominated against the Party’s wishes.

In other states, the GOP will try not to mention Obamacare at all, just like in 2012. If you look at what they do and not what they say, the Institutional Republican party is pro-Obamacare. The defunding measure was inserted very much over the objections of John Boehner in the House, and he only let in through because otherwise there may have been a new Speaker. In the Senate with the Cloture vote, we can see that by their deeds, the Institutional Republicans WANT Obamacare.

It is as bad as all that.

Could have been worse. I’m guessing Sanrio wouldn’t release the rights to Hello Kitty so the administration went with Plan B.
