No, that getup doesn’t make your point stupid at all

At first, nicking Sarah Palin’s “mama grizzly” imagery to make a contrary point seems like standard political repartee.

But…ummm…Emily’s List is a single-issue pro-abortion pressure group.

Mothers who fiercely protect their young. Women who demand the unrestricted right to abort babies. See, these two ideas are just not happy together. It’s what the ladies in the Human Resources department at my old company would call a “job mismatch” — HR-speak for, “wow, you really suck at this.”

It explains the costumes, anyhow. These girls have a much better chance being mistaken for bears than protective mothers.

Exit question: why is it when lefties really, really want to persuade the rest of us, they always dress up, strip naked or use puppets?

Because they are fundamentally un-serious thinkers, and they think that attention is the same as agreement.

You nailed it Weasel. Did anyone else notice that all of them had their noses on crooked? Maybe they’re part of the Crooked Nose Grizzly Tribe.

Woohoo! Got thrown from a horse this past weekend. But he’s now “broken,” as is parts of me. Hobble, hobble, shuffle, shuffle.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who thought “furries” when I saw the picture.

But yes, it is without a doubt a “job mismatch”. And I second unkawill on the exit question. They’re idiots.

I can only speak for myself but I find the dressing up and using puppets completely and always unpersuasive.

To have any chance of winning me over, they need to stay on the message that truly speaks to ME!

Their point (such as it is) would be just as stupid without the costumes.

I really gotta wonder how these people support themselves, I just can’t picture them doing anything….productive.

‘Does this costume make me look stupid?’ No, it is probably an improvement. The stupid comes when you open your mouth…

A few hypotheses: 1) The costume(s) (actually I think there was only one, which they took turns wearing, because the budget for this thing was about $35.00) allow them to spout this nonsense without actually making them identifiable, so they don’t actually have to have the courage of their ‘convictions’ or 2) The only time anyone got something across to these Sesame Street refugees was through the use of a puppet, so they are attempting to revert to something they understand, indoctrinaton-wise. 3) This actually is the randomly selected collection of losers it appears to be.

I’m ‘listing’ toward 3).

The costumes make them look like they should be singing about needing courage.

That was great. For a while I thought only England produced dress up lefties whose politics never advanced beyond the high school debating society. Glad to see the land of the free has them too.

Here, essentially, is how it all boils down:

Lefties are emotionally based and Righties are intellectually based.

During the last presidential season, a leftie friend forwarded me an email that attacked Sarah Palin because she had supported the hunting of wolves from airplanes.

My friend added her own note pleading with me not to vote for a woman who could permit wolves to be killed! The poor things, how awful!

Ever the rationalist, my thought process ran more along the lines of
1. Plenty of wolves in Alaska.
2. How does using an airplane make things worse? Is it because it doesn’t give the wolves a sporting chance to kill the hunter?
3. With all the problems our country faces, how high on the priority list is wolf hunting?

But she was serious, and that single fact alone made Palin unsuitable for office. By their actions, ye shall know them. Associating with acknowledged revolutionarys who wanted to destroy the American government? That is an intellectual association and tells you nothing.

Anyhow, my first thought when I saw this post WAS Furry’s.

My second thought was the line from Amelie “No one likes their cherry pie covered in hair”…. 🙂

But time to go now…

Comment from Some Vegetable

Note –

In this case a more accurate paraphrasing of that Amelie quote might be:

“No one likes their cherry preserves covered in hair”… 🙂 🙂

Now I REALLY have to go.

Now y’all need to understand that:
1) They did not SHARE one costume. They were each uniquely outfitted by a top New York fashion designer using only the finest materials and best creative design possible. After all, this WAS funded by your April donation to Uncle.

2) “I really gotta wonder how these people support themselves, I just can’t picture them doing anything….productive.” Again, you fail to realize that they are fully supported by your April donation to Uncle, who then decided that they and their cause were worthy of his largess.

Sheesh, don’t y’all understand ANYTHING?

These women all haertless killed their own babies because it was ‘inconvenient’ and they did not want to be ‘punished’ with a child. Their guilt will be in them until the day they die. That is why they hate Sarah: she had the audacity to keep her babies even when they were ‘inconvenient’. So they hate her. They Hate her so much that even though she is runnign for no office they feel they have to attack her. It is their guilt that drives them. If more people abort then they think they will feel less guilty. So they promote child killing and encourage people to do it.

Did you see Palin’s Facebook reply?

First, ladies, it’s hard to take a critic seriously when they lecture you wearing a bear suit. So, it’s difficult for me to drum up much outrage at this latest ad. But, really, lying about a sister while wearing an Ewok outfit is no way to honor our foremothers on the eve of the 90th anniversary of their victory. But, that aside, I’d love to know where you got those get-ups. Halloween is just around the corner, and Piper and Trig would look adorable as little grizzly bears.

Yeah, lefties. Just keep telling yourself this lady is dumb.

Right now I am majorly disappointed with Sarah Palin and Emily’s list can suck it.

Emily’s list is a prominent supporter of my current Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick, may she rest in peace. Sarah Palin endorsed Paul Gosar in AZ CD-1 and knocked a terrific conservative candidate out of the race because the sheep will vote for a pretty endorsement.

..why is it…they always dress up, strip naked or use puppets?

Identity crisis – they can’t decide what they wanna be when they grow up (as if THAT’s ever going to happen…), so they try to keep any details of who or what they actually are at present concealed.

Obviously, it doesn’t work – just makes it easier to laugh and point at them – but hey, it mostly keeps them safely out of touch with the real world, which is to the benefit of the adults.
