Be glad this blog’s in black and white

Wow. I know Hillary’s touring Bali at the moment, but I think when you’ve reached the muumuu level of fashion degradation, you need to stop digging.

Huma isn’t taking very good care of her lately. She’s off her game.

Yeah, it’s the same shot Drudge is going with. I’ve got absolutely jack shit today. Never left the house.

I know I shouldn’t complain, what with most of the US at or over 100 degrees at the moment, but it’s been miserable here lately. Cold, gray and wet. Day after day of it.

This is my third Summer in the UK and the first two were lovely. Sunny. Cool breeze. This is my first taste of what England can do to a vacation.

How miserable? It’s wet and mid-fifties and we’ve lit the fire.

I think I’ll go upstairs, throw the blankets over my head and strike until the sun comes back.

Ooohhhhh. I LOVE that kind of weather! Why am I still living in this stupid, hot desert? *Looks at foot nailed to the ground* Oh yeah.

Jeebers, but HRC is really letting things go.

I looked up the color picture. Why? Why did I do that? *twitch*

While you enjoy 53 degrees, we’re currently at 31 C (88 F), with a humidity-adjusted “feels like” of 43 C (109 F), and it was hotter mid-afternoon.

You light your fire, I’ll continue to worship at the altars of of compressor, condenser and evaporator.

Yay localized climate-control.

I sat in the sun and drank a beer in London just 2 weeks ago. And as for HRC, that pretty much explains bill’s wunderlust, doesn’t it.

Well the good news is that it’s pretty obvious that Hillary isn’t running for president any more. Bali is only important enough to visit when you’re on you “getting ready to retire” tour.

Actually, Ms. Rodham Clinton is most likely only trying to distance herself from Operation Fast and Furious, as well as the illegal part of Operation Castaway, and whatever the Operations were called out of the Dallas and Houston Field Divisions for BATFE. And yes, she WAS involved. Because those operations INTENTIONALLY did not notify the nations where the guns were going as to what was up. Or do you REALLY think that Holder and Napolitano would hide that from the State Department?

Miserable weather here in Florida today. 75 overnight, with a high of 92 tomorrow. Excellent water skiing weather. That is, if the St. Johns River Water Management District actually did their job and had the river level where it SHOULD be for this time of year…

Another 100+ day and no rain for 3 weeks in TX here. You did humankind a great service by greyscaling that picture.

Just remember Stoatie, a Boggart takes the form of what frightens you the most. You must keep your wits, imagine the creature in a humorous disguise, wave your wand and shout REDICULUS!

It got all the way down to 88F last night. I didn’t light the fire, but I did pull another blanket over —

What you need to be doing is working out ways to bottle that. A tanker-truck load of British summer weather would get bid up to the Soros level in Dallas about now.

Ric

Totally off topic….. AND!!! I do so because there are few people who rankle me more the the cankle’o’saurus. Few who, along with her husband-in-name-only and beneficiary of the first Presidential Library / Massage Parlor / Troll Sanctuary with the sovereign state of Arkansas….

*COUGH!*

Tonight, on the way home from the Vestry meeting in the parish of ol’ St. James in Wheat Ridge, I spied the first healthy fox runnin’ hell-bent-for-the-hen-house down one of the side streets.

Drudge has a predicted heat index map of the US for today up top this morning. THE hot spot? DC/NoVa. So much for any of the work the garden seriously needs…

Still enthusiastically winter here in Oz. Been averaging around 6° C at night, and around 12° C during the day; tho it has gotten as low as 2° C at night, with frost on the grass in the morning. Burrrr! Makes me want to curl up under 3 blankets with the electric blanket turned on and hibernate until the warm weather returns. Yup, fire in the wood stove every day!

Huh! Looks like Her Stoatliness cast a weather spell. There’s a big yellow thing in the sky today and the weather forecast for Badger House says no rain (for the first time in several weeks).

Still not a day predicted to reach even 70 in the next five, though.

Stupid country.

Sigh! Oh for an English summer! Appros of nothing, would any one like to see a picture of my car thermometer registering 121 degrees F? I took it while stopped on the expressway here in Hell Dallas the other day.

By the way, the forecast here in Fairfax Virginia is for 103°. But idiots on the morning radio said people were ‘hunkered down waiting for temperatures today to reach the boiling point.’ I’m worried…

Look, EVERYBODY in DC knows the boiling point is 100 degrees. What the heck is the matter with you? Are you one of those AGW Holocaust deniers?

My high of 88, low of 60 is why I suffer the winters and the local politicians of the White Mountains of Arizona.

Holy shit, what is that thing? That’s napalm territory if I ever saw it. Fuck, if I saw that monster crawling towards me I’d put every round from my pistol into it except the last one, which I’d save for myself.

Ooh, and right now thermometer says 23.7 °C. It’s midnight, the bugs are singing love songs, and you’re welcome.
