A-HEM!

Dear Koch brothers,

Like my hat? Yeah, because…ummm…it’s empty.

I’ve been reading all over the blogosphere lately how you guys have bankrolled this “Tea Party” stuff and I’m just wondering — where’s mine?

I’ve got this wingnut schtick down. Really. Really, really good.

Do you not know where to send the check or something? Because my email addy is right there in the header. Just drop me a line; we can work it out.

See, if this gig doesn’t start paying off soon, I’m going to have to slide on over to the progressives. Because we all know they’re actually right about stuff.

Hey! Am I right?

The only reason anyone would be a conservative is for dough. Or because Sarah Palin says it’s what Jesus would do.

So, c’mon guys, pony up! Fair’s fair! I’m really hurting over here.

If the Mossad ever stops buying favorable blog copy, I’m screwed.

Love,
Stoaty Weasel

OT – Ace bloggers have been referencing the Honey Badger alot lately.

http://minx.cc/?post=312567

This post got me to thinking;

A: wouldnt it be cool to see the Tea Party adopt a Honey Badger mascot … somthing similar to the gadsen flag or perhaps a snazzy patch or T-shirt …

2: wouldnt it be even MORE cool if S. Weasel were able to produce the graphics !!

And C: Stoaty becomes rich and famous and is mentioned in future history along side the likes of Martha Washington, for her inspirational Badger flag !!!

Yeah, but honey badgers are such ugly bastards ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah, I am waitin’ fer that check too, Stoaty. So far, no luck. All my posts are done on my own dang nickel.

How stupid is that?

But I love your little weasel with hat in hand. It’s really cute!

WTF is all this Koch brothers stuff coming from? SRSLY. The only place I’d ever seen their name before a month ago was on fucking PBS! They sponsor NOVA. (one of the few good things on PBS)

I have no clue, Grom. If you look at the big donor list, the Kochs are, like, eighty something. Plus, they’re total libertarians — not hated Christianists or anything.

I don’t know — are they really unattractive or something?

Of course, I’d never heard of Karl Rove until the left hyperventilated about him.

The libs are trying to make the Koch brothers into the Conservative counterweight to George Soros. Soros has his fingers in all things Liberal, and he is a highly visible (and unpopular, to the common voter) target. The libs need a Conservative boogeyman for their normal campaign of “Sin Brokering” whenever Soros comes up in a conversation…

Look, I know I’m biased, but isn’t that the best weasel image yet?

Geez, even the Coffee Party has come out anti-Koch: http://www.coffeepartyusa.com/tipping-point-2011

Uncle B: I still remain taken by the feminine insouciance of the “Wanna Rassle?” weasel.

Not surprising, Stoatie. the Coffee party was started by Liberal Activists as a PR counter to the Tea party, but it never made much of a splash. however, they certainly have an email address to get marching orders from the top….

Uncle B – Yes.
An American Weasel in Darkest England…on the Dole.

Heh.

I like the idea of a weasel wearing a billycock hat! They could always use an American Badger, an animal that belives in 16″ guns.

Cousin Badger is right, it’s a great weasel illustration.

Anybody know anything about Social Security? I got my statement today. Considering I had no work and made no contributions last year, my projected monthly check has gone down.

Should (can) I kick in some contributions, or is it a giant resource suck?

Apparently you can make voluntary contributions, Stoatie.

Should you? I view it as a massive resource suck (think “black hole” massive). SS is paying out more than it gets from taxes. As long as the politicians can get away with raising or maintaining the debt ceiling, I imagine you’ll eventually get SOMETHING back. What the value of the dollar you’ll get when the checks arrive is a different matter, though.

I suspect that your chickens will provide you with more value in eggs than the US Treasury will in cash.

Make sure the Honey Badger on the flag has big huevos.
Perhaps looking vaguely like teabags.

*assuming it’s a guy badger. Likely, girl badgers are lots fiercer.

Yeah, we don’t need big huevos. ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, a billycock hat? Shouldn’t it be broken?

[“I’m ‘ere in a ticky ulster an’ a broken billycock ‘at,
A-layin’ on to the sergeant I don’t know a gun from a bat;
My shirt’s doin’ duty for jacket,
my sock’s stickin’ out o’ my boots,
An’ I’m learnin’ the damned old goose-step
along o’ the new recruits!]

Oh. OK–Stoaty has never been in the army. Never mind, then. But while I would be hard put to it to choose a favorite Weasel image, I can so far concur with Uncle Badger as to say that this one is pretty cool.

About huevos. . .I can remember saying, many years ago, to a client after dealing with the posturings of an opponent:
“Well, I don’t have a dick, so I don’t have to play ‘whose dick is longest.'” It shut up the client, and the attitude pretty much prevailed with the opponent…

I’m with Uncle Badger and Can’t Hark – I really love this Weasel mit hat. However I want my weasel in a manic mood not the depressive.

Can you do her with in a strut with her hat in one hand over her head? I want that in a sticker I can put on the back of my BMW, like a Grateful Dead bear….

I wouldn’t mind a T-shirt of that either ๐Ÿ™‚

What do the Koch’s get out of this deal? A Tea-friendly King and/or Queen? The big-eared heir presumptive already bought and paid for in Riyadh, or so I hear.

Big huevos? Then you need, Tanuki!

Though he’s actually a racoon dog, he’s Badgerly enough for most.
