I know a game designer with ex-girlfriend issues…

You’re going to think I’m just saying this, but I always knew I’d wake up one day in a straight jacket on one of Saturn’s moons.

Played all the way through Dead Space 2 this weekend. Ten and a half hours at weenie level (I should’ve played at normal difficulty; the gameplay was a little easier than Dead Space, I think). Now I have the pleasure of going back through and killing the scary monsters so I can wander around and look at stuff.

Gorgeous. Here’s the website of one of the guys who worked on the backgrounds. And here’s five minutes of gameplay from a young man with a slight indefinable accent who screams like a little girl.

Happy Memorial Day! It’s a public holiday here, too — Whitsun.

Yeah, I know. WTF?

You know I have always wondered if someone would curse my name based on some of the technology I’ve developed. Oh Hell no I’m not in the Oppenheimer class, but some of it is disturbing.

I always wanted a constant named after me, an Allen. Perhaps, what will happen, I suspect is, “I don’t want to be within 10 Allen’s of you.”

Criminy the line between fame and imfamy is mighty thin.

Whitsunday — A Christian bastardization of a pagan pre-Summer celebration and the gift of the Holy Spirit by the risen Christ, breathed on the Apostles and followers before his Ascension.

Allen wench…..I think I met her at one Summer Solstice celebration in the canyons of SoCal. That was back in the smoke filled, wine sodden dark ages.

(yeah. I'm going to write)

(oooo! you have a website?)

Beware: more than one link in a comment is apt to earn you a trip to the spam filter, where you will remain -- cold, frightened and alone -- until I remember to clean the trap. But, hey, without Akismet, we'd be up to our asses in...well, ass porn, mostly.
